Lana Good B.Sc.(P.T.)

(Physiotherapist)

Lana was born in Waterloo and spent most of her life here. She graduated from Bluevale Collegiate and was accepted into the Physiotherapy program at the University of Toronto.

While at University of Toronto, she played varsity field hockey where she was awarded the 1993 CIAU Rookie of the Year. The varsity blues field hockey team were CIAU Champions in 1993 and 1997. Upon graduation she was awarded Most Outstanding Female 1996-97 CIAU Academic All Canadian.

Upon graduation, Lana worked at SOS Physiotherapy (University of Waterloo) for 15 years.

In 2011, Lana opened ‘Good Practice Physiotherapy.’

Lana is a strong believer in continuing education as crucial in order to stay in touch with the most current practices, research and techniques to best service my patients. Since graduating, she has achieved her McKenzie Certification in disc pathology and treatment, Sahrmann Level III (muscle imbalance) and Watson Level II (shoulder diagnosis and treatment).

Lana has taken many courses on the pelvis and it’s relationship to low back pain, incontinence and the thorax. She continues to work with Dr. Stuart McGill, a world leader in low back pain; prevention and treatment. Lana has completed McGill Level 1, 2 and 3 and most recently (2018) she completed the ‘McGill Master Course’ under McGill’s supervision and teaching.

Lana has also been certified with Can Fit Pro since 2001 to round out her expertise in exercise prescription.
